Significant management time and company resources are deployed to deliver effective Health & Safety practices covering activities and comply with all relevant statutory legislation like the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and regulatory codes of practice. Typical activities in this area include :

• policy reviews and development including H&S procedures
• risk assessment/ control and accident prevention measures
• ongoing employee consultation & training
• maintenance of safe plant & equipment
• safe handling and usage of materials

Accreditation with the Contractors Health and Safety (CHAS) assessment scheme further reinforces our drive towards a responsible Health and Safety ethos.
